Sourcing the Rough

We travel the world to attend major emerald auctions, hand-selecting rough stones based on potential, not just appearance.

Our buyers are trained to see beyond the surface — identifying internal structures, growth patterns, and hidden clarity.

The Journey of an Emerald
 From Earth to Elegance

Emeralds begin their lives deep within the earth,
formed under intense pressure and heat over millions of years.
Once mined, their transformation begins
and that’s where our expertise comes in.

Studying the Stone

Each rough emerald is studied in detail. We analyze how the stone grew, locate its clearest areas, and determine where to place the “table” — the flat top surface that will become the face of the polished gem.

Designing the Shape

Our cutters work to maintain as much carat weight as possible, while also enhancing beauty. Choosing the right shape is a delicate balance between symmetry, clarity, and proportion.

Faceting with Precision

Every facet is cut at exact angles calculated to bring out the life in the stone — that elusive glow that only the best-cut emeralds possess. It’s a mathematical and artistic process, done entirely by hand.

Polishing to Perfection

The final stage is polishing — a step that gives the emerald its light, luster, and brilliance. This is where the emerald is finally revealed in full splendor: a polished, natural treasure.
